Mango

This stop-motion film was animated to a live recording of the singer-songwriter musical and spats-wearing comedian Earl Oakin.  Starting out in 1967, Earl recorded songs at Abbey Road Studios, some of which were covered by the likes of Helen Shapiro, Georgie Fame and Cilla Black.  He went on to open for acts like Fairport Convention and Van Morrison.  By 1979 he was the only performer ever to open for Paul McCartney & Wings.

Mango was released in 2004 on the album ‘Musical Genius & Sex Symbol’.  WONKY felt it was about time it had it’s own music video.
